On Halloween night, when the membrane between the living and the dead is at its thinnest, a ritual is performed. From that ritual rises Dead Jeni. She is vengeance made flesh, summoned to punish those who prey on the weak, the broken, and abandoned. She is the dark avatar of suffering, a force born from cruelty itself. But the ritual goes wrong. When Becca inadvertently disrupts the summoning, she doesn't just break the spell, she makes herself the target. Confused and dangerously unfocused, Dead Jeni turns her gaze on Becca. What was meant to be a reckoning for abusers becomes a relentless hunt through the autumn night, with Becca as the prey.
